White Eagle Lodge, Liss

The new temple comprises a series of orthogonal pavilions arranged around a courtyard and connected by cloisters. It will offer healing, meditation and retreats inspired by a ‘spirit teacher’, White Eagle.

The temple’s architecture ‘draws on sacred geometries and ancient ley lines, creating a natural stone pendentive dome crowned with a timber lantern’, according to the architect’s website.

Working closely with British Gypsum our talented fixers and plasterers were able to line the inside of this Mosque to create an amazing space with huge amounts of natural light. Our first step was to visit site with BG to ascertain the best metal products to form the “fins”. Deciding upon MF framing we then discussed best fixings methods, utilising a mixture of steel pins and woodscrews.
